How do I get a copy of my transcript?

You have two different options for receiving a copy of your transcript:

  1. You can print an unofficial copy
  2. You can order an official copy

What's the difference between official and unofficial?

  • Official copies are legal documents, used to verify enrollment in a college program or success of completing one.  Employers and other higher education institutions will commonly require official transcripts.  These are ordered by the student but sent directly to the employer or institution by Northwood Tech.
  • Unofficial copies are printed by the student, it still shows all the same information as the official copy but can't be used as a legal document.  Commonly unofficial copies are used for job applications or credit transfer requests but upon a formal job offer or acceptance an official copy will be required.

     For an official transcript:

  1. Log into MyNorthwoodtech
  2. Go to your "Student Homepage"
  3. Click on "Order Official Transcript"

You will be directed to a new web page to select type and destination for your transcript

     For an unofficial transcript:

  2. Go to your "Student Homepage"
