How to Install Teams in Windows 11

Install Microsoft Teams by the Local Files option or the Microsoft Teams Web Version. Then, open the application.

  • Install Teams via Local Files
  1. Open “File Explorer”.
  2. In the pane on the left, click “This PC”.
  3. Double click “Windows (C:)”.
  4. Double click “Program Files (x86)”.
  5. Double click "Teams Installer”.
  6. Double click "Teams”.
  7. The user may need to sign out of Teams and sign back in if Teams states there is a problem after installing.

 

  • Install Teams via Microsoft Teams Web Version.
  1. Open a Web Browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, etc.).
  2. Navigate to www.northwoodtech.edu .
  3. Select “MyCampus”.
  4. Log in with your Northwood Tech Email Address and MyCampus Password.
  5. In the top left corner, Select the checkerboard pattern.
  6. Select “Teams”.
  7. In the top right corner and next to your Teams Portrait, select the 3 dots (Settings and More).
  8. Select “Download the desktop app”.
  9. Open “File Explorer”.
  10. In the left pane, select “Downloads”.
  11. Double click the Teams installer Application

 

  • Open the Application
  1. Open the Start Menu
  2. Select “All Apps”
  3. Under “M” there will be a listing for “Microsoft Teams (work or school), Select it.
